Almost 10 years after Zack Snyder’s adaptation of Alan Moore’s famed comic book characters, Warner Bros. is looking to give the Watchmen another go. Only this time, it will be on the small screen.

According to Variety, HBO, which is home to shows such as Game of Thrones, Westworld and The Wire, along with Warner Bros. are rebooting the Watchmen and have commissioned Damien Lindeloff to helm to the project. Lindeloff is known for his hit HBO show The Leftovers, along with writing the film Prometheus and for being the showrunner for Lost.

The report also states that this will be a fresh reboot, meaning that it will not be playing off of Zack Snyder’s film. It will be an entirely new interpretation of the hit comic for the premium television network.
