Better Call Saul has arguably become AMC’s greatest show since Breaking Bad. The prequel/spin-off, which chronicles the life of Saul Goodman before he got that name, has seen a steady rise in ratings and further critical acclaim as season 3 upped the Breaking Bad references and marvelously demonstrated Jimmy McGill’s declining morality. Now, AMC is rewarding the efforts of showrunner’s Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould with a fourth season.
Charlie Collier, president of AMC, SundanceTV and AMC Studios, spoke about the renewal, saying:
“Supporting artists we respect and admire; delivering truly outstanding character development and nuanced dramatic twists and turns; continuing a legacy of bold creative choices; loving writing that is the best in the business: Truly, ‘S’all good, man.’ Congratulations to Vince, Peter, Bob and everyone involved with ‘Better Call Saul.’ Bring on season four!”
On top of the acclaim, Better Call Saul earned seven nominations at the 2016 Primetime Emmy Awards including, outstanding drama series and outstanding actor in a drama series for series lead Bob Odenkirk.
As of now, the premiere date for season four of Better Call Saul has not been announced by keep it locked on Talkies Network to stay up-to-date on all things in entertainment and nerd culture!
