Former ‘Han Solo’ Movie Director Chris Miller Sends out Cryptic Tweet

Chris Miller, one of directors recently fired from the still untitled ‘Han Solo’ anthology film has finally broken his silence since he and his partner Phil Lord were booted from the movie. And the tweet sounds a lot like a familiar Star Wars: A New Hope line…
To a regular movie fan, this would probably seem like an normal tweet. But, to a Star Wars fan, it is so much more. Fans of the franchise know that “situation normal” is a line spoken from Han Solo as he, Luke Skywalker and Chewbacca fight their way through the Death Star in an attempt to rescue Princess Leia Organa.
“”Uh, everything is under control. Situation normal,” Han says into an intercom as he tries to stall the incoming Empire reinforcements.
Lord and Miller were recently fired from the project after creative differences with writer Lawrence Kasdan and Lucasfilm president, Kathleen Kennedy. Ron Howard was recently announced as their replacement and will continue to shoot for the May 2018 release date announced by Disney.
The message really doesn’t hint at anything. Only speculation can be made as to what Miller means. Personally, I believe that Miller is harboring no ill-will towards Disney and his situation really is just “normal.” Who knows, maybe the two directors will head back over to the DCEU and helm The Flash. We’ll have to wait and see…
