Fans of the popular successor to the hit anime Naruto have been patiently awaiting the day when the show introduced Sasuke. Well, that day is finally coming as Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will indeed introduce the Uchiha into the show.

Last week, Boruto ended its ongoing ‘Ghost’ storyline and will enter into a series of filler episodes before its highly anticipated ‘Naruto Gaiden’ arc premieres. The saga kicks off on the episode’s 19th episode, ‘Uchiha Sarada,’ where the episode will revolve around the young girl’s shady past. The synopsis for the episode has been released online which you can check out below.

“Sarada misses her father Sasuke, who she has never met as far as she can remember it. Even if Sarada asks Sakura about him, she dodges her questions, so she ends up unintentionally taking a rebellious attitude. Meanwhile, she finds a picture of Sasuke with a woman wearing glasses.”

Sasuke was one of the main characters in Naruto, acting as the best friend of Naruto Uzumaki. For most of the series, the pair were at odds, even being each other’s main rivals. When Naruto: Shippuden ended, Sasuke had reconciled with Konoha after becoming a rogue ninja but he was not keen on staying the village.

For fans who are familiar with the Naruto Gaiden manga, then you can probably guess as to when he will make his appearance. The story begins with Sarada questioned her mother about Sasuke but it also moves in and out with Sasuke’s journey. He is on his way home to Konoha when he meets a mysterious boy who holds the Sharingan. The episode then stops Sasuke’s journey but Sarada does indeed meet up with her father after deciding to sneak out of Konoha in search of him.
