Jared Leto can’t seem to get enough of the geek film genre. From Blade Runner 2049 to Suicide Squad, the actor/singer is no stranger to blockbuster films and it looks like he’s already lining up his next project.
Leto is reportedly in talks to star in Bloodshot, Sony’s adaptation of the famous Valiant Comic. The film would take place within a shared universe with four other proposed Valiant Comics films. Leto would indeed play the titular anti-hero who is a nanobot-infused killing machine who turns on his makers and becomes a vicious force for good.
Not much else is known about Sony’s Valiant Universe. The Bloodshot character is actually being portrayed by Power Rangers alum Jason David Frank in the web series Ninjack Vs. The Valiant Universe. Casting Leto as Bloodshot further proves that the two franchises are being kept separate.
Bloodshot will be directed by Dave Wilson while Neal Moritz and Toby Jaffe serve as producers. Valiant’s Dinesh Shamdasani will also produce, with Matthew Vaughn and Jason Kothari serving as executive producers.
The Bloodshot film currently has no release date but keep it locked on Talkies Network for all the latest news and updates on Sony’s Valiant Universe!
