In what should come as no surprise to anyone, Warwick Davis is returning to the Star Wars franchise. Having had roles in all three main Star Wars trilogies, he also played a minor role in Rogue One and now, director Ron Howard has announced that Davis will make an appearance in the second Star Wars anthology film.
The casting of Davis was actually the third piece of news from the still untitled Han Solo film. Today, it was confirmed that John Powell would be composing the score for the movie. Powell is best known for composing the musical scores for How to Train Your Dragon and Kung Fu Panda. In addition, Spencer Wilding, the man in the Darth Vader suit in Rogue One was also announced to have a role in the 2018 film.
Davis is known for his role as Wicket W. Warrick, the famous Ewok in Return of the Jedi, various characters in The Phantom Menace and for his dual role as Professor Flitwick and Griphook in the Harry Potter series.
The Han Solo movie flies into theatres on May 25, 2018/
