Next year, Walt Disney World in Florida will unveil its latest additions to the globally popular park. One of these new additions will be Toy Story Land, which will join Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge as the latest attractions to Disney’s Hollywood Studios Park. Today, we have our first look at one of the many aspects of Toy Story Land.
In an article by People Magazine, Disney World released the latest concept art for the park. The image gives fans their first look at Woody’s Lunch Box, a toy themed diner:
The restaurant will offer walk-up food and quick service to Walt Disney World-goers. The lunch box building also has a bottle of soda attached to it and will be surrounding by several toys.
Representatives from Disney said in a statement:
“Guests will shrink to the size of a toy and explore all of the fun (and toys!) Andy has constructed in his backyard.”
The park also said that, in addition to the Woody themed eatery, they were looking at creating attractions based around the character Slinky and the little green aliens.
If you are unfamiliar with Disney’s latest expansion plans, here’s Kathy Mangum, lead creator for Walt Disney World, at D23 to explain what the park is:
“When you enter the land, you’ll be shrunk down to the size of the toys like Woody and Buzz. As you become a part of Andy’s world, you’ll have two brand new attractions. One will see little green aliens pulling you around as the Claw looms over you. The other is a family coaster where you ride on the back of Slinky Dog.”
Toy Story Land opens in Walt Disney World in summer 2019.
