The retrospective panel featured plenty of Star Wars guests discussing George Lucas’s Emmy-winning show and its wide-spanning impact while showing off some original sketches like the ones you can see below. One depicted an unused story arc with fan-favorite bounty hunter Cad Bane and a young Boba Fett.

“I think [the series] was just to explore the many different stories that [George Lucas] had in mind over the years,” Filoni said after the panel opened with the first-ever footage that debuted back in 2007. Getting to explore the vastness of the Star Wars universe as well as different facets of Anakin’s personality were the two main reasons for bringing the show to life in the first place. “These characters all evolved.”

But not everything was funny and light-hearted. Ashley Eckstein actually teared up a bit after they showed the clip from the Season 5 finale where Ahsoka leaves the Jedi Order. When the audience was asked if they remembered where they were when this moment occurred, several hands shot up into the air.

Stay tuned for more details on this amazing news!
