Once again, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 faces another major setback.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, production of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is being put on hold as Marvel and Disney rediscuss the project which was going to have begun principal photography in either January or February and begin full pre-production mode in the fall.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that crew members are being dismissed and are being allowed to look for other work. A source of theirs referred to the timeline as having been “pushed out” and another person said that the hold was only temporary.
At the moment, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 currently has no director, no release date, and a cast that’s been vocal about their displeasure of Disney firing the previous director James Gunn.
