After months of speculation, it appears that we may now know when exactly the first look at Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck’s Captain Marvel will debut.
A post from the Marvel Studios Reddit community page earlier this morning includes a leaked call sheet for next week’s Good Morning America airings on ABC, seemingly confirming the film’s trailer to launch – with an introduction from star Brie Larson via satellite – at the end of the episode on Tuesday, September 18, just before 6am PT/9am ET.
The debut of the highly anticipated MCU film’s trailer follows previous recent high-profile Disney trailer launches on GMA, including Star Wars spin-offs Rogue One and Solo, as well as Avengers: Infinity War.
Given the nature of the leaked call sheet, there is a chance these plans may change but for now, set the date and time in your diaries! If Disney & ABC or connected official parties release more information on the trailer’s launch, keep it locked on Talkies Network for all the latest info!
The story follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Captain Marvel flies into theatres on March 8, 2019.
