If you had some fear that you had seen the last of the Simpsons, your fears can be put to rest.

At the TCA winter press tour on Wednesday, FOX announced that The Simpsons has been renewed for two more seasons, which would take the series into 32 seasons overall.  The Simpsons is currently in the middle of its 30th season on FOX and by the time the season is finished, will have aired a total of 663 episodes. At the conclusion of Season 32, the sitcom is expected to have produced 713 episodes total.  Currently, The Simpsons is the longest-running primetime scripted show in television history.

Since debuting in 1989, The Simpsons has earned several awards for Fox. The show has won 33 Emmy Awards, 34 Annie Awards, a People’s Choice Award, and an Environmental Media Award. It was also the first animated series to ever win a Peabody Award and was even nominated for an Academy Award in 2012. The success of The Simpsons has also allowed the series to make a 2007 feature film that made more than $527 million worldwide, on just a $75 million budget.

This season, the show has an average audience of 7.5 million viewers per episode. The next episode of The Simpsons is titled “I’m Dancing as Fat as I Can” and will air on Sunday, February 10th at 8 pm ET.
