‘Titans’ Season 2 Adds Joshua Orpin as Superboy

The boy of steel is coming to the DC Universe.

Titans is paying off last season’s mind-blowing cliffhanger in the best way possible: actor Joshua Orpin has been tapped for the series regular role of Conner Kent/Superboy for the upcoming second season of DC Universe’s flagship series.

Following the climactic events of the season 1 finale, Titans included a post-credit scene, featuring the famed S symbol in a lab, as well as Connor’s dog Krypto. The character is expected to have a fairly similar origin story to the one seen in Young Justice.

Here is the official character description provided by Warner Bros. Television:

Superboy, aka Conner Kent, is the angsty teenager of steel searching for purpose and the truth about his past. While looking for answers, he crashes into the world of the Titans where he finds an unlikely home and surrogate family as well as revelations that carry more complications than he ever bargained for.

Joshua Orpin is a graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. He can be recently in The Blake Mysteries: Ghost Stories for the Seven Network and will next star in Upright for Foxtel.

Titans Season 2 is rumored to begin filming in the next few weeks. The first season is currently streaming on DC Universe.
