The Slytherins of the world will be given their due as The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has announced a brand new projection show.
It was announced today that Universal will be unveiling a brand new projection experience called “Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle” at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood later this year.
This unique experience will uses technology that brings to life the “Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle,” as well as the mesmerizing holiday show “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle.” Characters like Lord Voldemort, Bellatrix LeStrange, the Death Eaters, mountain trolls and, Aragog will all make appearances during the sequence.
The light show will be accompanied by an exclusive musical arrangement that will encompass guests via a surround sound environment. John Williams’ original themes will be accompanied by new music conducted by William Ross and recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra.
The news comes on the heels of the announcement that the park will be introducing the brand new roller-coaster, “Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure.” It’s set to open on June 13th.
The “Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle” will debut at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood and run nightly during April 13-28, then return from May 25-27. It will premiere at Universal Orlando Resort later in 2019.
